Technical information and project decisions
Website guides and capability tables are general reference material. They do not approve a particular design, establish a production specification or replace your product’s engineering and qualification requirements. Check critical values against the applicable primary documentation and obtain confirmation for the submitted files before releasing an order.
A reference process limit may depend on material, geometry, quantity and manufacturing conditions. Values from different rows must not be assumed to apply together. Proposed changes to a released design should be reviewed by the person responsible for that design.
Quotations and orders
A website description or inquiry does not establish an accepted manufacturing order. The contracting parties need to agree the technical scope, price, quantity, payment terms, delivery arrangements, acceptance criteria and responsibilities in the relevant quotation and order documents.
Confirm the contracting entity and manufacturing site when those details are required for supplier approval. Any certification, test or traceability requirement should identify the evidence needed for the actual order. Website references to a standard or technology do not establish that evidence.
Your submitted information
Provide files and instructions that you are authorized to share, and identify their revision clearly. Tell the recipient when information is preliminary or incomplete. Resolve confidentiality and permitted-use requirements before sending controlled technical material.
Keep a copy of the submitted package, accepted changes and final release. When a requirement changes, identify the affected files and obtain confirmation of the updated scope rather than assuming that an earlier quotation still applies.
