PCB MANUFACTURER IN CHINA
China PCB Sourcing Guides for Engineers and Buyers
A clear PCB sourcing process connects engineering requirements to a quotation, an approved manufacturing release and the evidence delivered with the order. Use these guides to prepare each step and keep open decisions visible.
Published sourcing articles
Start with Files You Need for a PCB Quote: Gerber, BOM, CPL for a detailed file handoff guide. The list below includes the published sourcing articles available on this site.
PCB Power Distribution Impedance Targets
Turn load-transient limits into a PCB power-network target, allocate voltage margin, and define simulation and measurement conditions.
RF PCB Material Loss Budget
Allocate RF board insertion loss across traces, launches and transitions before choosing laminate, then compare models with measured coupons.
Flying Probe vs Bed-of-Nails Testing
Choose bare-board flying probe or fixture testing by coverage, access, revision stability and volume, with a checked cost example and release checklist.
LED PCB Thermal Path Review
Review the complete LED heat path, separate material conductivity from thermal resistance, and define measurements before approving the PCB.
HDI Build-Up Structure Selection
Choose an HDI build-up from actual escape routes, layer connections and qualified fabrication evidence before committing to a more complex structure.
ENIG vs ENEPIG for PCB Procurement
Compare ENIG and ENEPIG through soldering, wire bonding, contact function and storage evidence, then write a finish-specific PCB purchase requirement.
PCB Controlled Impedance Tolerance Selection
Choose PCB impedance tolerances from channel margin, fabrication variation and a defined coupon measurement plan before releasing the stack-up.
PCB DFM Review Sign-Off Process
Assign PCB fabrication exceptions to accountable approvers, record exact CAM changes and release one traceable package before production begins.
EV Charger PCB Procurement Checklist
Define EV charger PCB insulation, current, thermal duty and acceptance evidence in an RFQ that separates board manufacture from product qualification.
Finished Hole vs Drill Diameter
Specify finished PCB holes clearly, distinguish drill compensation from acceptance limits, and check PTH, NPTH and connector requirements before release.
Approving a PCB Stack-Up Drawing
Review PCB stack-up drawings for layer order, materials, finished thickness, copper and impedance, with a practical approval and revision checklist.
FR-4 Grade Selection for PCB Buyers
Select an FR-4 grade using assembly exposure, operating conditions, dielectric data and stack-up requirements, with a material substitution checklist.
PCB Manufacturing Process: Step by Step, Gerber to Test
Follow the PCB manufacturing process from Gerber review to final testing, with buyer approval points, inspection limits and an RFQ release checklist.
Files You Need for a PCB Quote: Gerber, BOM, CPL
Prepare Gerber, BOM and CPL files for a PCB quote with practical checklists, naming examples, revision checks and questions to confirm with your supplier.
Start with the requirement you need to resolve
| Your question | Start here | What you will prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Which board construction fits the product? | PCB manufacturing guide | Board family, materials, stack-up and critical fabrication requirements. |
| How should the board be assembled? | PCB assembly guide | Sourcing responsibilities, BOM, placement information and test scope. |
| Does a feature need engineering confirmation? | Capability reference tables | A concise list of dimensions and processes to confirm against the design. |
| What evidence should accompany the order? | Quality and certification guide | Acceptance criteria, certificate checks and traceable records. |
| What should I send for pricing? | Quote preparation checklist | One consistent file package with quantities and delivery requirements. |
| Where can I find a quick purchasing answer? | PCB sourcing FAQ | Questions to settle about cost, quantities, timing and responsibilities. |
Use a decision record for your project
Keep a short record of the requirements that have been accepted and the questions still open. For each decision, name the document and revision it affects, the person responsible for approval and the evidence needed to close it. This can be a simple project note; its value comes from keeping the final instructions consistent.
Separate fixed product requirements from requested recommendations. A mandatory laminate, connector interface or acceptance criterion should be identified explicitly. Where you can accept alternatives, explain the constraints so an engineering proposal can be evaluated on useful grounds.
Compare quotations using the same assumptions
Before comparing totals, check that each quotation describes the same revision, quantity, material, component sourcing model and testing scope. Record exclusions and open items beside the price. A proposal that depends on an unapproved substitute or an unfinished fixture should remain visibly conditional.
Use the same discipline for timing. Confirm the prerequisites for production, the completion milestone and the transport arrangement. Keep your required arrival date visible so the quoted schedule can be assessed against the actual project need.
Keep the release useful for the next order
When the first build resolves a question, update the controlled file or instruction that caused it. Retain accepted deviations, final assembly variants and test versions with the order. A repeat build should begin with that released package and a clear change list.
